Thunder Held to Two Hits In Shutout Loss to Mets

by @ 5:21 pm. Filed under Chase Wright, David Robertson, Trenton Thunder - April 2008

Trenton dropped their season opener to Binghamton today 2-0 and the offense was held to a mere two hits in the game.  Both hits were singles and even with the four walks the team drew, no hitter reached base more then once.

Chase Wright had a solid enough outing but he dropped to 0-1 on the season.  He gave up two runs on three hits with four strikeouts in six innings of work.  David Robertson was impressive and he threw two shutout innings of relief with three strikeouts.
