SWB Held to Four Hits In Loss to Rochester

by @ 3:23 pm. Filed under Angel Chavez, Kei Igawa, SWB Yankees - June

The Yankees had a tough time at the plate today and they were held to a single run on four hits in a 4-1 loss to Rochester.  Angel Chavez went two for three with a double and he drove in the only run of the game for the Yankees.

Kei Igawa had a decent start but he dropped to 0-2 for the Yankees because of the lack of run support.  He gave up three runs (two earned) on eight hits and two walks with nine strikeouts in seven innings.
