by @ 6:55 pm. Filed under Bryan Villalona, Reegie Corona, Tampa Yankees - May 2007, Roger Clemens

Roger Clemens starting for the Yankees was the big news of the day an he didn’t disappoint.  He gave up just one run on three hits with two strikeouts in four solid innings.  Bryan Villalona picked up the win with five shutout innings in which he gave up just two hits and two walks.

Reggie Corona pretty much was the offense in the 2-1 win. He hit a two run homerun in the third that put Tampa up for good.
