by @ 11:34 pm. Filed under Jose Tabata, Ian Kennedy, Tampa Yankees - April 2007, Jeff Karstens

Jeff Karstens held Clearwater to three hits and a walk with five strikeouts in five innings of work in Tampa’s 3-0 win. Ian Kennedy picked up the win in relief and he gave up just a single hit in three innings.

Jose Tabata continued to hit the ball very well. He went two for four with a triple and two RBIs.  The two hits raised his batting average to an even .400 on the season.

Hey Mitch! I was searching for some Yankke Minor league stats and can’t find any on Joba Chamberlain. It appears as if he were injured, but I haven’t read that on any website. Do you have any information. Has he played after the the winter league, and if he hasn’t do you know why? Thanks in advance.
