Jason Brown got his first start of the season and he made it count with a great day at the plate. He went three for three with two doubles and two runs. Brett Gardner and Gabe Lopez both drove in three runs in the 8-5 win.
Allan Horne picked up the win in a solid outing. He did give up three runs but it was on five hits and two walks with an impressive seven strikeouts. Edwar Ramirez struck out the side in the eighth in a solid relief appearance.
