Chase Wright Strikes Out Ten in Seven Shutout Innings

by @ 5:44 pm. Filed under Trenton Thunder - April 2007, Chase Wright, Matt Carson

Chase Wright threw a gem today as he held Harrisburg to a single hit with ten strikeouts.  Wright was drafted way back in 2001 in the third round and he had been progressing slow but this start was definitely encouraging.  He’s now thrown 14 shutout innings with 19 strikeouts.

Matt Carson led Trenton at the plate.  He went two for three with an RBI.
