Charleston was doubled up by the Sand Gnats 6-3 and they managed their three runs on just four hits. Austin Romine was the hitting star and he went two for four with a run and an RBI.

Zachary McAllister threw six shutout innings and he picked up the win, but after he left the game, he almost saw the pen blow the game. With a 4-0 lead going into the eighth, Auburn came back and scored two in the eighth and one in the ninth to make it a one run game. Fortunately, that’s as close as they’d get.
