SWB Loses Game Three To Braves

by @ 5:15 am. Filed under Angel Chavez, Matt DeSalvo, Sean Henn, Andy Cannizaro, SWB Yankees - September 2007

SWB is now one loss away from being eliminated from their run for the Governor’s Cup after a 6-4 loss.  The Yankees led most of this game but then Sean Henn was tagged for four runs in the eighth inning.  It’s too bad because a nice start by Matt DeSalvo went to waste.  He gave up two runs on five hits and and three walks with five strikeouts in seven innings.

Andy Cannizaro and Raul Chavez each hit solo homers in the loss.  Angel Chavez went two for four with a run and an RBI.

SWB Picks Up Just Three Hits In Shutout Loss

by @ 11:43 am. Filed under Tyler Clippard, Andy Phillips, Kevin Reese, SWB Yankees - May 2007, Sean Henn

The Yankees lost to Norfolk today 2-0 and the offense picked up just three hits in the loss.  Andy Phillips picked up the only hit with a walk and Kevin Reese reached base twice with a single and a walk.

Tyler Clippard left the game after only one inning.  Not sure if it was because of a rain delay or an injury but I’ll let you know when I find out.  He was relieved by Sean Henn, who gave up two runs and took the loss.
