SWB held off a tenth inning rally by Richmond to even up their series at a game a piece in a 6-4 win. Jose Cruz, Jr. made a contribution with a single, a double and a run while Juan Francia doubled, drove in a run and scored.
Kei Igawa had a decent start and he gave up just two runs in five innings. Ben Kozlowski picked up the win despite getting into trouble in the tenth inning and it was T.J. Beam who pitched the Yankees out of the tenth to pick up the save.
SWB lost their first playoff game despite a solid outing by Steven White. The right handed pitching prospect gave up three runs on seven hits and two walks with one strikeout 5 2/3 innings.
Juan Francia went two for four with an RBI. Bronson Sardinha walked twice and belted a solo homerun.
The Yankees managed only one run on six hits in a tough loss to the Rochester Red Wings. Eric Duncan and Juan Francia had the only extra base hits for the Yankees. Each had doubled and Duncan scored the lone run while Francia had the lone RBI.
Matt DeSalvo took the loss and he fell to 6-4 on the season. He gave up three runs on four hits and four walks with five strikeouts in five innings of work.
The Yankees took care of the Chiefs 7-4 and it was Shelly Duncan who led the way at the plate. He went two for three with a walk, a homerun and four RBIs. Juan Francia went one for one with a walk and two runs.
Tyler Clippard picked up the win with five decent innings. He gave up three runs on four hits and five walks with two strikeouts and the win pushes his record to 4-2 on the season.
Shelly Duncan hit a huge seventh inning grand slam to give the Yankees a 7-5 win over the Bulls. Juan Francia also contributed with a nice game and he went three for three with a walk and two runs.
Chris Britton picked up the win despite being hit the hardest of all of the pitchers. He gave up three run in two innings.
The Trenton Thunder scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth to send the game the into extra frames and then they won it in the bottom of the twelth when Cody Ehlers drove home Juan Francia on a ground out to shortstop. Instead of going home or trying for a double play, shortstop Seth Bynum threw to first and that cost Harrisburg the game.
Aarom Baldiris had two singled and two RBIs while Francia went three for four with two runs and RBI in the 5-4 win. Edwar Ramirez picked up the win with 1 2/3 no hit innings. He walked three and struck out three.
