Ian Kennedy Throws Five Solid Frames In Trenton Loss

by @ 11:07 pm. Filed under Andy Cannizaro, Brett Gardner, Ian Kennedy, Jeff Kennard

For the second straight start, Ian Kennedy had a good enough start but he didn’t pick up the win because of a lack of run support.  He gave up one run on three hits and two walks with four strikeouts in five innings of work.  Jeff Kenard took the loss and he gave up two runs in three innings.

Brett Gardner went two for four with a double and a run.  Andy Cannizaro singled twice and he scored the other run.

Trenton Loses to Erie In Ten Inning

by @ 11:16 am. Filed under Jeff Kennard, Joseph Muich, Matt Carson, Trenton Thunder - May 2007

Another good start by Brett Smith went to waste today as the Thunder gave up him little run support.  He gave up a run on one hit and three walks with three strikeouts in eight innings.  Jeff Kenard gave up the winning run by getting into a jam in the tenth and then Jospeh Muich let the winning score on a passed ball.

Matt Carson had the only extra base hit of the game.  He tripled and he scored the only Thunder run.
