Tampa Pen Solid in Win Over Sarasota

by @ 6:50 pm. Filed under Tampa Yankees - April 2007, Edwar Ramirez, Kevin Russo, Mike Martinez, Erick Abreu

Erick Abreu had a tough start today for Tampa.  He gave up three runs on seven hits in just three innings.  Fortunately, the pen was very good today as three relievers combined to throw six no-hit innings.  Mike Martinez was particularly good and he threw three no-hit frames to pick up the win.

Edwar Gonzalez went two for four with an RBI in the 4-3 win.  Kevin Russo went two for three with a double and a run.
