The GCL Yankees were shutout on six hits as the GCL Dodgers evened up their best of three game series for the GCL championship.  Wady Rufino went two for four with a double in the loss.

Dickson Marquez took the loss despite a decent start. He gave up two runs on two hits with five strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.

Dickson Marquez fell to 2-3 on the season with a rough start in the GCL Yankees 6-3 loss to the GCL Braves.  He gave up three runs (two earned) on seven hits with three strikeouts in five innings of work.

Zoilo Almonte went two for four with an RBI.  Walter Ibarra went two for four with a double and an RBI.

Dickson Marquez improved to 2-2 on the season with five innings of shutout relief.  He gave up three hits and he struck out two in an impressive outing.

Prilys Cuello was the hitting star in the win.  He went two for four with a homerun and two RBIs.

The GCL Yankees had a tough time at the plate and they were held to just two runs in their 6-2 loss to the GCL Braves.  Jesus Montero drove in both runs with a two run shot in the eighth inning and Montero was the only hitter with two hits for the Yanks.

Dickson Marquez fell to 0-2 with a rough start.  He gave up five runs (four earned) on five hits with one strikeout in 4 1/3 innings.

The GCL Yankees had a tough time getting anything going at the plate in their 3-1 loss to the GCL Blue Jays.  Zoilo Almonte singled twice and Melky Mesa doubled and scored the only run for the Yankees.

Dickson Marquez took the loss and he fell to 0-1 on the season.  He gave up one run on four hits and three walks with five strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings.

Zoile Almonte had a great day at the plate in the Yankee’s 7-2 win over the Blue Jays.  He went three for five with two doubles and he drove in three runs.  Prilys Cuello also had a nice game and he went one for three with a walk an RBI and three runs.

Dickson Marquez struck out six in four shutout innings in his start.  Daniel Gil picked up the win despite giving up two runs in his three innings of work.
