Austin Krum Drives In Four Dogs For RiverDogs In Win Over Rome

The RiverDogs took care of Rome today 10-4 and it was Austin Krum who led Charleston at the plate.  He went two for three with a double and he drove in four runs.  Justin Synder tripled, drove in two and scored a run.

Dellin Betances threw a solid game and he improved to 1-0 on the season.  He gave up two runs on three hits and two walks with eight strikeouts in five innings of work.

Staten Island Crushes Tri-City 13-2

Staten Island scored five runs in the seventh and four in the eighth to push them to a blowout win over Tri-City.  Jose Gil belted a homer and drove in five runs while Austin Krum went three for four with a double, three RBIs and two runs.

Adam Olbrychowski improved to 3-5 with the win. He gave up two runs on four hits and three walks with five strikeouts in five innings.

Staten Island Held to Four Hits In Shutout Loss

Staten Island finished had a tough time getting anything going at the plate in a 5-0 loss to Brooklyn.  Four different hitters picked up base hits with Austin Krum having the only extra base hit with a double.

Zachary McAlliser fell to 4-5 with the loss. He gave up four runs on eight hits and two walks with four strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.

Staten Island Doubles Up Brooklyn For Seventh Straight Win

Ryan Pope improved to 3-0 on the season with a nice start in the Yankees 4-2 win over Brooklyn.  He gave up two runs on six hits and one walk with seven strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.

Austin Krum went three for five with a double and two RBIs.  Braedyn Pruitt went two for five with an RBI and a run.

Staten Island Blows Out Hudson Valley For Sixth Straight Win

Damon Sublett was one of the hitting stars as Staten Island took care of Hudson Valley 8-3 for their sixth straight win.  He went three for four with a double, a homerun, two RBIs and three runs.  Austin Krum went three for four with a double, a triple, an RBI and two runs.

Nicholas Chigges pitched the bulk of the innings and he improved to 3-4.  He gave up one run on four hits and two walks with four strikeouts in five innings of relief.

Zachary McAllister Loses Decent Start

Zachary McAllister fell to 3-3 on the season in a rough start in Staten Island’s 4-3 loss to Jamestown.  He gave up three runs on eight hits and one walk with five strikeouts in six innings of work.

Austin Krum was the hitting star in the loss.  He went two for four with a double and two RBIs.

Staten Island Doubles Up Vermont

Staten Island took care of Vermont 4-2 and Nicholas Chigges picked up the win.  He gave up two runs on six hits and one walk with three strikeouts in four innings of relief.  The win pushed his record to 2-3 on the season.

Austin Krum went two for three with a walk and a run.  Luis Nunez went one for four with a double, a run and an RBI.
