Alan Horne improved to 7-3 on the season with a nice start in Trenton’s 9-5 win over Akron. He gave up just one run on five hits and a walk with four strikeouts in six innings.
Matt Carson went two for five with two RBIs and two runs in the win. Aarom Baldiris hit a two run homer nd the long ball was his sixth of the season.
Jason Jones improved to 4-4 on the season with a nice start in the Thunder’s 7-1 win over Reading. He gave up one run on five hits and one walk with three strikeouts in seven innings.
Aarom Baldiris hit a big three run homer in the win. Matt Carson went one for three with a walk, a double and two runs scored.
Gerardo Casadiego gave up the losing run in the bottom of the tenth inning in the Thunder’s 4-3 loss to the Fisher Cats. A pretty good start by Tim Lavigne was wasted in the loss. He gave up two runs on five hits and a walk with five strikeouts in six innings.
Aarom Baldiris was the hitting star in the loss. He went two for three with a double and an RBI.
Alan Horne had another nice start in the Thuners’ win 7-6 win over the Defenders. He gave up four runs (one earned) on seven hits and two walks with seven strikeouts in six innings. The win improved Horne’s record to 5-2 and he now has 73 strikeouts in 59 innings.
Carlos Mendoza went one for three with two walks and three runs scored. Aaron Baldiris went three for four with a solo homerun and two runs scored.
Trenton lost a tough one 3-2 and while the pitching was there, the hitting wasn’t. Aaron Baldiris hit a solo homerun and Shawn Garrett went two for five with an RBI.
Jason Jones took the loss. He gave up three runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks with five strikeouts in five innings of work.
Brett Smith was awesome in his fourth win of the season as Trenton beat Portland 6-0. He gave up just a single hit and two walks with ten strikeouts in eight innings of work.
Shawn Garrett went two for four with a double, a triple and two runs. Aarom Baldiris went two for four with a double, an RBI and a run.
Aaron Baldiris sinled home Tony Blanco in the bottom of the tenth inning as the Thunder beat Harrisburg 4-3. Gabe Lopez helped out the cause with two RBIs and Matt Carson scored three runs in the win.
Tim Lavigne threw five shutout innings to start the game out. Gerardo Casadiego picked up the win after throwing a shutout tenth inning.
The Thunder beat up on Harrisburg 8-2 and Jason Jones got it done on the mound. He gave up a single run on six hits and a walk with three strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings and the win improved his record to 2-0.

Brett Smith had a fantastic start today in the Thunder’s 7-4 win over Binghamton. He gave up just four walks in seven no hit innings and he struck out seven.
Ramiro Pena singled twice and scored two runs. Aarom Baldiris and Shawn Garrett each doubled, drove in two and scored a run.

Cody Ehlers and Aarom Baldiris each drove in two runs in the game. Ramiro Pena finished with two hits and two runs.
The Trenton Thunder scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth to send the game the into extra frames and then they won it in the bottom of the twelth when Cody Ehlers drove home Juan Francia on a ground out to shortstop. Instead of going home or trying for a double play, shortstop Seth Bynum threw to first and that cost Harrisburg the game.
Aarom Baldiris had two singled and two RBIs while Francia went three for four with two runs and RBI in the 5-4 win. Edwar Ramirez picked up the win with 1 2/3 no hit innings. He walked three and struck out three.
