Brian Aragon Drives In Five In RiverDogs Win

by @ 11:40 pm. Filed under Grant Duff, Seth Fortenberry, Mitchell Hilligoss, Brian Aragon, Charleston RiverDogs - June 2007, Trenton Thunder - June 2007

The RiverDogs blasted the Sand Gnats 12-2 and Brian Aragon led the way with the stick.  He went three for five with a double, a homerun, five RBIs and two runs.  Seth Fortenberry also had a nice game and he went three for six with a homerun, two RBIs and two runs.  Mitchell Hilligoss extended his hitting streak to three games with a single in six at bats.  Seriously, this is an amazing stretch for Hilligoss.  I don’t have a complete game log, but he’s reached base in his last 40+ games.

Lost in all of the offense was a really nice start by Grant Duff.  He gave up four hits and four walks with four strikeouts in six shutout innings and he improved to 7-4 on the season.
